Meet Multimedia Max®, a voice activated computer system designed to allow you to control virtually everything in your environment by voice command using Dragon Naturally Speaking™ . The "full" Multimedia Max® product lists for $8,995, which includes a computer, Dragon Naturally Speaking™, environmental control hardware and software, macro commands to run your telephone, fax machine, and answering machine completely by voice, installation, training, and one year warranty. Environmental control includes all 256 different X-10 addresses and unlimited infrared devices. Max "learns" your infrared commands and so will work with ANY infrared device. Max also supports unlimited automatic telephone number dialing, each with a single voice command like "Call Dan". The environmental control software uses full bitmapped images of computer generated "rooms"

These images can be replaced with bitmaps that the user chooses, or actual photographs of the rooms being controlled. Other options are security system interface, wireless remote camera viewable on computer screen with voice command access, and built in temperature control for RCS thermostats.
